"For some of our customers," explains Renee Redman, owner of www.TheStationeryStudio.com, "our site can be addicting.
Once you create personalized items you want to return for more."
As a niche website offering the "hard-to-find" but "need-to-get items", TheStationeryStudio.com has emerged as one of the premier websites dedicated to personalized stationery, note cards, birth announcements, moving cards, personalized poker chips, acrylic and ceramic gifts, Louisville Slugger baseball bats, wedding invitations, gift stickers and custom gifts.
Started in 1992, The Stationery Studio was once touted as a local hotspot for creating dynamic custom invitations and announcements. Often, their customers would pick up a personalized gift item while they were there looking for birth announcements, bar/bat mitzvah or wedding invitations.
To provide a flexible online catalog for their out of state customers they created a website in 1998.

Over the years it has grown into an online powerhouse focusing on unique specialty "knock your socks off" personalized gift items for customers all over the world.
The spectrum of popular-priced items that can be ordered is extensive and there is truly something for everyone.
Let's take bathrooms for example.
For many, their powder room isn't complete without personalized paper guest towels with their name and the phrase "Whad'ya expect?Linen?" Their children's presents must have the cutest gift stickers on them.
A note card needs hand-lettered calligraphy address labels?and many will only use customized "From the Mommy of" note sheets for correspondence to school.

"We can't get enough cute things to offer," explains Redman.
"We're constantly adding to our selection and there are many personalized gift ideas for all holidays."
This year, make your friends green with envy? put your favorite pup's name on a ceramic dog bowl or sew "fashioned with love by" woven labels to handmade personalized gifts? or place a monogram on elegant, but affordable custom stationery wardrobe note cards!
This summer, send your favorite little ones off to sleepover camp with their own custom postcards and stationery.
Put the grandkid's center stage on a sweatshirt or ceramic platter imprinted with the phrase "We Love Grandma & Grandpa" and all their names?and don't forget to order a birthstone bracelet for the little lady in your life. One of their customer's favorite areas of the site provides a huge selection of adorable stick figure stationery, announcements, invitations and gift items.
"They are completely unique and personal and they allow our customers to express who they are and who they want to be.
The customer decides exactly how the personalized stick figure notecards and gifts will look.

We have the artwork drawn to the customer's specifications and they are limited only to their imagination!"
As the largest online dealer of personalized stick figure products in the U.S., they offer varied items with stick figure designs including stationery, notepads, birthday invitations, moving announcements, address labels, clothing, tote bags, gift stickers and post-its.
"It's a golden opportunity to let everyone know how you want to look, your passion, your hobby or your profession.
Whether it's real estate, jogging, being a princess, shopping, reading or basketball, the customer makes the decision," explains Redman.
Just ask Lisa Gubernick, Wall Street Journals Catalog Critic, she commented, ..."But for that really special note, we were hoping for something more personalized ? and The Stationery Studio had just the thing. Ordering online, we entered our child's name and then "built" a stick figure to match, choosing general characteristics (boy or girl, long or short hair) and favorite activity (violin, baseball).....

Lily loved that she got to be pictured with "my stuff." We were entranced as well ? and awarded these Best Overall."Indeed, TheStationeryStudio.com is the place to find the hard-to-find gift.
It's a one-stop shop for all ages and all generations.
If you love cooking, they offer personalized
"Cooked with Love" stickers you can place on your baked goods.
If you love reading, there are gorgeous bookplates for all ages.
Little indulgences like hand-calligraphied address labels and mommy pads are the reason their customers keep coming back.

"Another reason customers keep returning is because we offer exceptional value and excellent service.
We try to provide the same special attention to all of our online orders that we would to any local customer," says Redman. "These are the kind of items you can't find at your local department store? or the mall," she notes, "specialty items like these are unique."
Most gift items on www.TheStationeryStudio.com range from $20 to $40.
"We try to create an extensive selection of affordable items for our customers.
This year we introduced online gift certificates in any denomination starting at $20 which can be sent via mail or instantly via email.

They have been a big hit as they allow the recipient to make all the custom choices about their personalized gift," she explains. "We know from 12 years of experience how recipients appreciate the items we offer. In today's world, it's important for many people to stay connected to their friends and family and these are the type of items that say that you took the time to order something special."
Redman adds "It's that personal(ized) touch that makes all the difference.".

Happy Birthday Hef?Hugh Hefner

Happy 79th Birthday HefHugh was born April 9, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois the oldest son of conservative Christian parents who traced their roots to the Puritans of the Mayflower.Hef created the first issue of Playboy in 1953 on his apartment's kitchen table and published it for under $10,000. He spent $500 to buy the rights for the first centerfold--Marilyn Monroe, photographed before she was famous. The nude beauty helped make the magazine an instant sensation. Over 50,000 copies sold.Today Hef is the beneficiary of his huge Playboy Empire. It wasn't always money for nothing and chicks for free.

Hef had to earn his success. Just stop and think what kind of an up hill battle he must have fought. In 1953 when he started Playboy the country had Ike for President and men weren't getting laid much. Skirt hems were long and I am sure it took big balls to start Playboy.Today 50 plus years later Hef is living and enjoying the good life that no other man on earth enjoys. Now a days you...

Calligraphy Fonts

Calligraphy fonts have undergone a colorful evolution throughout the centuries. Their development has been shaped by history itself.

Early writing was done on wood or stone, thus the fonts were angular. As man became more sophisticated and developed cities, the fonts also changed to have softer edges to adjust to the papyrus being used. When Rome fell, academic centers were concentrated in Western Europe.

Afterwards, the Dark Ages settled in; art and creativity seemed to have died, so did developments of calligraphy fonts. After the Dark Ages, with the rise of the Roman Catholic Church to power, the formal and elaborate font styles emerged. This font features the architectural designs of the Middle Ages. These fonts are known as "Gothic."
Until printing mechanism disrupted handcrafting of prints, Gothic was the popular choice for fonts. When literacy was brought down to the level of common townsfolk, the demand for less complex fonts increased.
